Project Fair Invitation
Friends,
It is with great pleasure that I invite you to The 16th Uniendo-America Project Fair.
January 29th - January 31st, 2009
at the Radisson Hotel by the sea in Belize City
This year’s invited speakers are Fabio Carballo and Maria Emig. Fabio Carballo, from Costa Rica the Vicechair of the Rotary Action Group for Microcredit and a member of the R.I. Microcreedit Advisory Committee, will share with us the poverty alleviating strategies of microcredit and the wonderful success that microcredit has had in the region. Maria Emig, of The Rotary Foundation and Grants Coordinator for District 4250, will inform us about the new rules and strategies of the Rotary Foundation that went into effect on July one 2008.
Aside from making new friends, renewing old acquaintances, and increasing your knowledge of Rotary, the main purpose of this Uniendo-America (a united America) Project Fair is to network with Central Americans who are seeking partners for projects in their communities. If your club is interested in developing an international project, there is no better place and no better way to synergize with other Rotarians, make friends in Central America and create an international project, than by attending the Uniendo-America Project Fair in Belize.
Not only will you gain valuable knowledge about Rotary and Central America in general, but you will get to socialize with some of the most dynamic Central Americans who, are making their countries and the world a better to place in which to live.
Please see our Uniendo-America program on this site for complete details about this exciting event. If you have any questions about this year’s project fair, we have specific contact persons for the United States, Canada and Central America----please do not hesitate to contact us.
With great pleasure, we look forward to your visit in January 2009.
For the Belize Uniendo-America Project Fair committee,
Respectfully yours in Rotary,
André Lopez
